Australia and South Korea have formally signed a new bilateral agreement to strengthen climate and energy co-operation, paving the way for the expansion of clean energy industry and trade opportunities.
The Green Economy Partnership Arrangement (Green EPA), signed on 20 December, aims to diversify the clean energy supply chain, enhance hydrogen systems and advance carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS).
The agreement will also simplify trade barriers and promote co-operation on carbon market standards and certification.
