H2APEX Acquires German Hydrogen Project

H2APEX has acquired the hydrogen project of HH2E Hamburg at the Lubmin plant.

H2APEX says it intends to complete the green hydrogen production facility originally planned by HH2E.

With this new project, H2APEX also acquires the land, infrastructure and all necessary connections for a successful hydrogen project, including existing electricity and water connections, the company said.

In addition, the plant has direct access to several pipelines that will be converted to hydrogen operation in 2027, thus integrating it into Germany’s core hydrogen network.
