Korea Southern Power, Ulsan City agree on hydrogen plant development

On May 15, South Korea’s Southern Power Company signed a business development agreement with the city of Ulsan to build a clean hydrogen power plant, a project with a total investment of 600 billion won (about $450 million). The power plant, which is scheduled to be completed in 2029, will have a generating capacity of 135 MW and will be fully operational, using 100% hydrogen with zero carbon emissions.
