Hyosung Heavy Industries and Korea Southern Power sign MOU for hydrogen energy project

   

On 12 December, Hyosung Heavy Industries signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with South Korea’s Namseong Electric Power, taking a major step forward in the field of hydrogen power generation.

The official launch took place on 20 December at Hyosung Heavy Industries’ Changwon plant in South Gyeongsang Province in the presence of key executives from both companies, including Woo Tae-hee, CEO of Hyosung Heavy Industries, and Kang Ki-yoon, President of Korea Southern Power.

The partnership aims to establish a strategic alliance to enhance competitiveness and expand business in the hydrogen power generation sector. The two companies plan to combine their core competencies to jointly promote hydrogen engine power generation projects, demonstration projects for clean hydrogen production and utilisation, and other clean hydrogen-related business and technology cooperation.
