China’s first “Energy Law of the People’s Republic of China” (hereinafter referred to as the “Energy Law”) came into effect on January 1, 2025, and for the first time, hydrogen energy was explicitly included in the energy management system.
Four articles of the Energy Law deal with hydrogen energy, including a reference to actively and orderly promoting the development and utilization of hydrogen energy and promoting the high-quality development of the hydrogen energy industry.
